test97-7 The Fire was KFFR Pullman, WA. On August 1, 2007, the sale of 97.7 FM to Xana Dukes Partners, LLC was finalized. They have closed down the station and are in the process of moving everything to a new location. When it returns, it will be a different format.

Starting this station was the fulfilment of a dream I've held for many years. Because of some bad decistions on how we chose to build our company too rapidly, we ran out of start up money and never really got things going the way we had hoped. We held on for as long as we could but for quite a while was costing my family over $2000 a month to keep the station going at a bare bones level, and that's not fair to my family.

Perhaps we'll try again someday, here or somewhere else that has a need for this style of radio. We'll do it debt free and with a lot more help going into it. If that's something you'd be interested in helping with, contact me at the link above.

I have a few on line stations I can recommend to you if you enjoyed The Fire. www.klife.org in california plays a lot of the same music we did. www.radiou.com plays even more agressive Christian rock than we did. If you like the R&B side of what we did on Fire, check out WPOZ in Orlando's HD2 channel.

You've been the best audience ever and I hope you've enjoyed learning a lot of great new songs that will stick with you.

God Bless You, Thank You and Good Night
